Managed Digital Certificates for File Encryption
For organizations that wish to use PKI-based digital certificates (digital identities) for data encryption, Entrust Entelligence® Security Provider for Windows® automatically manages and protects the digital identities used by applications for encryption, digital signature and authentication. Security Provider delivers a digital identity (an x.509 certificate and associated keys) to the native Windows security architecture (Crypto API) for use by any Windows security-aware applications.

Like Entrust Entelligence Media Security, the Security Provider can also be used for 'government-strength' file encryption. Specifically, Security Provider supports CAST, AES, Triple DES, RSA, IDEA and SHA-1 cryptographic algorithms for file encryption. You can also specify entire folders for encryption.
